A NON-TECHNICAL WAY OF TEACHING PHOTOGRAPHY

Is this you?
  • You own a camera, but don’t really know how to use it?

  • A parent, just wanting to take better photos of your kids?

  • A grandparent wanting to take some photos of the grandkids?

  • Maybe you’re just starting out in your photography journey and are looking for some insider tips and tricks?

  • Or perhaps you’re interested in landscape photography?

  • Do you feel anxious a lot and need something to help? This is how I personally started my photography business 20 years ago.

  • Are you looking for a little something extra, outside of watching Netflix; A new hobby?

  • Are you the parent of a teen who loves photography and you think they would love to learn more?

What you will need

The big question is, are you capable to learn something without it being super technical and by the book? The reason why this is an important question, is because I am a self-taught photographer and business owner. My photography skills do not come from books, or classrooms. My skills come from going out and doing what I’ve been doing for the past two decades. I don’t plan on spitting out a bunch of technical mumbo-jumbo at you. I believe that learning based on how something makes you feel, is the best way for most things, especially when it comes to a creative outlet like photography. Of course there are some technical things that you’ll need to know, but I will teach you in such a way that it won’t go over your head. We can do things step-by-step and go over the results together and keep learning.

For the proposes of how I will be teaching, you will need a DSLR camera. Not a cell phone, disposable or a point-and-shoot camera. If you are unsure if your camera will do the trick, just shoot me a message!
